The wife of a tradie has revealed the sneaky way she convinced a customer to pay an overdue invoice.
The tradie called and texted the customer but never received a response, so he asked his wife for help.
She managed to get a response within minutes after she sent a message acting as though she was his affair partner. He paid that same afternoon.
The tactic left hundreds in stitches after she shared the conversation to a popular Facebook group.
‘I called the guy and he didn’t answer so I sent this text and he called me within two minutes of sending it. We were paid the same afternoon haha,’ the wife wrote.
The text sent at 1:34pm read: ‘Hey, I had a great night with you. Hope we can do it again soon.’
After just two minutes the customer text back saying: ‘Getting paid now. Will send remittance.’
The wife responded with a simple ‘Thank you’.

The post quickly caught the attention of others who thought the tactic was ‘brilliant’.
