Supporters in the West Midlands counting down to the Euro 2024 finals in Germany can get a football fix closer to home – at Wolverhampton Art Gallery.
Football: Designing the Beautiful Game showcases items from some of the game’s greatest players including Pelé and Lionel Messi alongside memorabilia from the region’s clubs.
The exhibition features objects on loan from The National Football Museum in Manchester and Fifa’s World Football Museum in Zurich.
The gallery, a 10-minute walk from Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Molineux stadium, also reflects the city’s footballing history with items from the Wolves Museum.
