Women’s golf has six on WGCA All-American Scholar Team – St. Olaf College Athletics

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Six members of the St. Olaf College women’s golf team were honored on the 2023-24 Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team, as announced on Monday.

Recent graduates Sydney Monge and Bergen Senf, rising junior Belle Mae Williams, and rising sophomores Marit Lyle, Solveig Senf, and Ella Wright were among 1,497 women’s collegiate golfers from 412 programs across the country to earn the honor. Monge and Bergen Senf earned WGCA All-America Scholar honors for the maximum fourth time, while Williams was honored for the second season in a row to start her career.

In order to be named to the WGCA All-American Scholar Team, student-athletes must have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher, must be an amateur and on the team’s roster through the conclusion of the team’s season, and have played in 50 percent of the team’s regularly-scheduled competitive rounds during the season.
