CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The Augustana women’s golf team saw the maximum number of student-athletes named to the 2023-24 WGCA All-American Scholar Team. Five members of the NSIC Championship squad earned the honor: Shannon McCormick, Masy Mock, Molly Stevens, Lauren Tims and Lanie Veenendall.
The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50 while playing in 50% of the regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year, through the conference championship.
Stevens now earns the honor for a fifth time while Tims garners her fourth award. McCormick is on the list for a third time while Mock and Veenendall earn the honor for the second time.
Augustana capped its 2023-24 season by claiming its 13th NSIC Championship and 14th overall conference title.
