FOOTAGE has emerged of troubled former NBA star Delonte West appearing unwell.
West was seen stumbling through a parking lot in Arlington, Virginia on Thursday.
The concerning scene comes just days after West was arrested for running from police in Fairfax County.
They were attempting to serve him a warrant for violating terms of release.
West was found unresponsive by police after a foot chase and they administered Narcan for a suspected overdose.
He was transported to the hospital where he was later charged with resisting arrest.
West was reportedly being held on a $2,000 bond and was due to appear in court last Friday.
The former NBA star initially fell on hard times in 2016 when he was spotted barefoot and in a hospital gown out in Houston.
From there his troubles continued as he was seen panhandling in Maryland.
In 2020, more footage appeared of West in Maryland, this time shirtless and bloody after what was assumed to be a fight.
After that incident, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban helped get West into a rehab program.
West played for the Mavericks in 2012 and also spent time with the Boston Celtics, Seattle Sonics (now Oklahoma City Thunder), and Cleveland Cavaliers in his eight-year career.
Cuban’s efforts appeared to be unsuccessful though, as West was out of rehab by October 2021 and was arrested in Florida.
One year later, West was arrested again, twice in two weeks.
Those arrests came after he attempted to get back into basketball shape in hopes of competing in Ice Cube’s 3-on-3 league.
Cuban spoke about his efforts to help West last year on the All The Smoke podcast and revealed that he can’t try anymore.
“We get him again, put him in Rebound in Florida, takes his stuff throws it over the fence, gone,” Cuban said.

“His mom was like one more time one more time I’m like I can’t.
“It’s just that he has a sickness, he’s bipolar.
“It’s a struggle for him. I mean, addiction is awful. And mental illness is awful. He’s at the point in his life where he’s got to want to be helped.
“You know, he’s got to want to help himself first. I’ve tried. I know it’s tough on him, but I wish him nothing but the best.”
West played in 432 games during his NBA career in which he averaged 9.7 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game.
He last played in 2012 before retiring from the league.
