ZEGNA Rushes Through Rainbow-Hued Linen Fields for SS25

Must read

Endless fields of mechanical linen set the stage for ZEGNA’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection. Located inside the Italian brand’s Milanese headquarters, pink and orange sprigs of metal-strung flax sprouted from mountains of sand that doubled as a runway. Paying tribute to the delicate textile, ZEGNA created its own “L’Oasi di Lino” — an oasis of linen — embracing the gifts of Mother Earth.

Upon arrival, Creative Director Alessandro Sartori guided guests down a sand-covered walkway, emerging into a makeshift field lined with minimalistic black stools. SS25 saw Alessandro let loose and have fun, basking in the forthcoming sunshine and paying tribute to the summer-ready textile. The first model came out dressed in light green suiting carrying two weekender bags, one larger than the other, for the ideal spontaneous getaway.

Flowing formalwear arrived in a mirage of neutral tones, followed by pop-collared vests and printed silk sets with abstract flax plants. Woven button-downs were crotched to perfection while two-toned polos, lightweight jackets, and matching short-shorts were cut from the same cloth. The collection formed into a ZEGNA rainbow, growing from burnt reds to chocolate browns and sky blues. Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen closed the runway in style, seeing Alessandro take his final bow to a well-deserved standing ovation, bidding farewell to the welcomed guests soon jetting off to Paris.
